Korean WON Exchange Rates

Here is a little cheat sheet for the Korean currency so you know how much you are actually spending.

The national currency in Korea is the WON (KRW ₩), and generally comes in increments of 1000. 

So ₩1000 equals about $1.15

Coins: ₩100, ₩500
Banknotes: ₩1000, ₩5000, ₩10000, ₩50000

You can print out this little chart to keep with you  for when you are going to the store.
